
One-To-One Mindfulness Training
Personalised mindfulness practice sessions with guidance & support in a private setting or online.
Service Description
After an initial consultation to identify your specific needs & goals, one-to-one sessions provide space to deeply explore & develop your own practice at your own pace. These can be online or in person. Key points: Personalisation - we focus on your unique challenges, concerns & desired outcomes adapting techniques & exercises accordingly. Flexibility - sessions can be scheduled at times that suit your needs Confidentiality - a safe space to discuss personal experiences & challenges related to mindfulness practice without the presence of others. Suitable for: People who prefer a more private setting Individuals with complex needs or specific challenges Those who want to deepen their existing mindfulness or meditation practice What might happen during a one-to-one session: Initial discussion - how your mindfulness practice is going & any specific goals or areas you want to focus on Guided practice - you will be guided through various practices as appropriate including visualisations & breath techniques Reflection & discussion - time to reflect on the experience, discuss challenges & explore ways to integrate learning into daily life Home practice materials - each session you will receive resources for home practice which may be in written, audio or video format, or a combination as appropriate, and a summary of any relevant theoretical or scientific information Whether you are struggling with anxiety, illness, sleeplessness or chronic pain, or you want to learn some strategies to simply have a better quality of life, we can draw from a wide range of Mindfulness Based Approaches (MBAs) including Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma Sensitive Mindfulness (TSM), Mindfulness Self-Compassion (MBCL), & Internal Family Systems (IFS). As well as training in these MBAs, I also have over thirty years' experience as a meditation teacher using visualisation and breath techniques, and training in Somatic practices including Qigong Shibashi and Tapping, so we have a wealth of choice to suit your needs and personality. Cost: cost is £45 per 60 minute session or book a 4 session pack to save over 10%

Please note that bookings are made under the terms below. Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds for cancellations except under exceptional circumstances. If for any reason a course or workshop is cancelled then a full refund will be offered. Mindfulness & Mindful Movement are safe and effective means to manage stress and improve physical health, strength, and wellbeing. We want you to have the best experience possible, therefore, if you have any of the following conditions or are under supervision by the mental health team / health care provider, we will require you to obtain consent from them to attend this course. If you have any of the following contra indications please either provide a letter from your mental health team / health care provider or by booking you are confirming that you have verbal consent to attend: Epilepsy, Bipolar, PTSD, Schizophrenia, Psychosis.
