Service Description
Experience transformative relief with our Deep Relaxation One to One sessions at Stillworks Meditation, guided by an experienced meditation teacher with over thirty years of practice. Designed to alleviate stress, anxiety, and pain, these forty-five minute sessions offer a powerful alternative to mindfulness and hypnotherapy. If you are looking for a break from the busy-ness of life, some time out, or a chance to give your body and mind some space to rest and heal, without the need to learn new skills, these sessions are for you. Unlike mindfulness and hypnotherapy, which focus on long-term change and can support in releasing life-long patterns which have left us 'stuck' with unhelpful behaviours and habits, these sessions simply give you space to 'be'. Using a combination of guided meditations and sound therapy, you will have the chance to simply unwind knowing that you are giving your mind and body an opportunity to step out of the 'stress state' we are so often locked into, and into 'rest state'. Regular meditation helps us sleep better, improves immune function, reduces blood pressure, relieves pain and can reverse the effects of many autoimmune conditions. Sessions can be experienced either seated on a chair or lying on a comfortable mattress. Please indicate your preference on the booking form. Audio recordings are available upon request for a small admin fee to support your journey. Home visits can be arranged but please note there is an extra charge for travel and time. N.B. please note that, as stated, these sessions are for relaxation and pain relief only and do not address long term habits as they do not utilise brain re-wiring techniques or post-hypnotic suggestions.
Cancellation Policy
Please note that bookings are made under the terms below. Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds for cancellations except under exceptional circumstances. If for any reason a course or workshop is cancelled then a full refund will be offered. Mindfulness & Mindful Movement are safe and effective means to manage stress and improve physical health, strength, and wellbeing. We want you to have the best experience possible, therefore, if you have any of the following conditions or are under supervision by the mental health team / health care provider, we will require you to obtain consent from them to attend this course. If you have any of the following contra indications please either provide a letter from your mental health team / health care provider or by booking you are confirming that you have verbal consent to attend: Epilepsy, Bipolar, PTSD, Schizophrenia, Psychosis. (British School of Meditation requirements) If you have any other medical conditions that may affect your experience of this course please inform us on booking.
