Service Description
Join Natalie, trained in ACT-based Shibashi and Qigong, to learn how simple movements repeated regularly and frequently can unlock your body's own ability to heal and transform itself. Working on posture, breathing and movement improves cardiovascular & immune function, reduces blood pressure, improves sleep, reduces pain and muscle tightness and prevents falls. We also experience reduced stress and anxiety as the body learns how to spend more time in 'rest & digest' (parasympathetic) state (see my blog 'Get a Move On' for more information). These small classes are informal and fun as we explore the many science backed and clinically tested ways we can improve our health & enjoy life, whatever our age. Evidence shows that these techniques can slow ageing and grow muscle even after the age of 50, and reduce the likely hood of dementia. Natalie has over 30 years' experience teaching meditation, MBSR, MBCT, MBCL, ACT, IFS & EFT as well as being a registered hypnotherapist. All exercises can be adapted for specific needs and can be done standing, sitting or even lying down. Please speak to me if you have any queries or concerns.
